The abuse started with the first pregnancy because Renee was unwilling to get an abortion. During her second pregnancy, the financial, mental, and physical abuse would get even worst. At 9 months pregnant Renee was beaten to the floor, punched in the head, pushed and shoved, and left bruises. As a result, Renee was rushed to the hospital after leaking amniotic fluids. After this Renee would get the courage to leave. Leaving would cause an even bigger issue, Eventually, Renee’s father of children would use the system to falsely gain custody of their children. Filing false police reports, and lying because she would not come back to him. With tons of evidence to prove her innocence would because of a bigger challenge.
