In a meeting held in an auditorium at Budlong Avenue Elementary School in South Los Angeles, A California mother is outraged after her 5-year-old son with autism was allegedly sexually assaulted by a classmate in a school bathroom.
The alleged incident occurred in Budlong Avenue Elementary School, part of the Los Angeles Unified School District . When the mom picked her son up from school one recent afternoon, his pants were inside out and his shoes were on the wrong feet.
"He told me that another boy took his pants off and that he touched his private area," the boy’s mother told news outlets. The mom claims the classmate then performed a sexual act on her son using his mouth. She also contends that she immediately went back to the school to inquire about the claims and the teaching staff contends that no one said anything out of the ordinary.
His mother called the police. The 5-year-old was taken to a hospital and examined, and from what’s being reported, no action has been taken by the school district.
