We had another amazing Youth Reading and Writing Session today!! We meditated, did breathing exercises, site words, worked on a bullying project and had Shani Atkinson II come out and donate books!!
The parents also got a chance to see us in action at the end!! We have received wonderful feedback and the kids have confirmed were their favorite class and teachers.
When I tell you it’s moments tears just come to my eyes looking at their confidence building, them challenging themselves, respecting each other, working together and learning at the same time.
Let me tell you they get into this meditation and breathing exercise.
